Annapolis is one of our favorites. We chose to tie up to a City owned mooring ball for just $25 per night. We enjoyed the shops and well-landscaped yards of the historic homes. Checked our mail that had been forwarded to the Annapolis post office. After a few days, we moved the boat around the corner to Eastport and ended up using a mooring ball again.
